BMW Launches X1 LWB Electric SUV in India, Range of 571 Km

The design of the X1 LWB is a bit different as it has a larger looking bonnet. Its length is 4,616 mm and wheelbase is approximately 2,800 mm. It is one of the largest five seater SUV in the country. It has 18 inch alloy wheels. Its design looks better with unique color options. The X1 LWB is available in Mineral White, Portimao Blue, Sparkling Copper Grey, Skyscraper Gray and Carbon Black colors and Mocha Veganza vegan upholstery. It has an electric motor on the front axle which generates power of 204 bhp and peak torque of 250 Nm.

Features like electrically adjustable seats, reclining seats, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting and floating armrest have been provided in X1 LWB.

It has features like lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, rear view camera and eight airbags for security. The X1 LWB is powered by a 66.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. BMW has started taking bookings for this electric SUV from Friday. Booking for this can be done at the company’s dealerships. Last year, BMW introduced the electric i5 in the country. Its price is around Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom). The BMW i5 M60 has a battery pack of 83.9 kWh. Its range on a single charge is approximately 516 kilometers. It has a dual electric motor. It has a motor on each axle. Its maximum power is 593 bhp and peak torque is 795 Nm. It can reach 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds. Its top speed is around 230 kmph. An 11 kW wall charger is available with it. Apart from this, customers also have the option to upgrade to 22 kW AC charger.
