Samsung Galaxy S25 has been launched in the US at a starting price of US $ 799 (about Rs 69,000), in which the base 12GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration comes. The price of its 12GB + 256GB variant is US $ 859 (about Rs 74,300). The price of the 12GB + 512GB variant is yet to be announced.

Samsung Galaxy S25 will be made available in Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow color options and Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold online exclusive color options. At the same time, Galaxy S25 Ultra will be made available in Titanium Jadegreen, Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Pinkgold color options.
The Samsung S25 series is available for pre-order from today and the sale of these models will start from February 7.
Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ specifications
The biggest differences between the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are in the display and battery capacity. Both smartphones run on Android 15-based One UI 7. Samsung says that both these handsets will get seven years of OS and security updates. The Galaxy S25 has a 6.2-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This panel comes with a peak brightness level of 2,600 nits. At the same time, Galaxy S25+ has a 6.7-inch (1,440×3,120 pixels) screen size with the same display specifications. Both panels come with Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection. Both smartphone models come with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC tuned for Galaxy devices, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.2 type storage.
There are some changes in the camera department as compared to the previous generation. Both the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ sport a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera with 2x in-sensor zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera with 120-degree field of view, and 3x optical A 10-megapixel telephoto camera with zoom and OIS is included. On the front, both handsets also have a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 packs a 4,000mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging, similar to last year’s model. At the same time, Galaxy S25+ has a large 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging support. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will also ship with Android 15-based One UI 7, which is claimed to provide users with OS and security updates for seven years. The phone comes with a 6.9-inch (1,400×3,120 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of up to 2,600nits. This model also gets a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with the same Galaxy chip as the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.2 storage.
Being an Ultra model, it gets an extra camera unlike the other two base models. Its quad rear camera setup includes a 200-megapixel main sensor with 2x in-sensor zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens with 120-degree field of view, a 50-megapixel macro lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS. It includes a telephoto camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. At the front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the latest flagship also packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging. It also has Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 (15W) and Wireless PowerShare support. It has all the basic connectivity options including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, UWB, GPS and USB Type-C. The company claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has an IP68 rated build for water protection. The phone supports the Samsung S Pen stylus, similar to other Ultra series handsets, which can be hidden inside the frame of the phone. Its thickness is 8.2 mm and weight is 218 grams.
